New Jersey Off Road Vehicle Park - Rules and Regulations
{effective 5/01/2005}

Definitions:

1. Long Sleeve shirt is any shirt covering the elbow while in the riding position.

2. Long Pants is any type of pants where the length reaches the ankle.

3. Off Road Vehicle is any type of vehicle prohibited from being operated on a roadway by state law and any vehicle deemed off road by NJORVP’s insurer.

4. Goggles are eye protection designed specifically for motocross and off-road racing.

4.1 ( NO SUNGLASSES, SAFETY GLASSES, or RIDING GLASSES )

5. Chest Protector must have a hard plastic shell on at least the front (No BIOFOAM only roost guards).

6. Boots must be leather over the ankle type work boots and fully laced and tied.

6.1 ( Over the ankle shoes made with canvas material is not acceptable )

7. Marked Trails are any trail designated by red, blue, or yellow markers. All other trails are off limits.

8. Tear Offs are any material attached to the goggles that can be discarded while riding.

Rules:

1. Entry and use of NJORVP property and facilities are at your own risk.

2. No alcoholic beverages, firearms, illegal substances, littering, dumping, hunting or trapping allowed on NJORVP property. Any member doing so will be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked.

3. All members must register their guests upon entry to the park. Any member not doing so may be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked.

4. Anyone riding in the park must be registered and approved to do so, if a member allows an unapproved or unregistered guest ride on NJORVP property that member may be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked.

5. Any member and or their guest riding at NJORVP must remain within NJORVP’s property boundary or you and or your guest may be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked.

6. NJORVP rules and regulations are subject to change at any time without notice.

7. Required safety equipment: Helmet, Goggles (NO GLASSES or SUNGLASSES Without or instead of Goggles), chest protector, over the ankle boots, long pants, and long sleeve shirt.

8. All Safety gear must be worn at all times when operating an off road vehicle.

9. Anyone involved in an accident while on NJORVP property is subject to drug and alcohol testing.

10. Neither NJORVP nor its employees are responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property.

11. NJORVP reserves the right to expel for any period of time or permanent revocation of memberships for any rule infraction(s) made by members or their guests.

12. NJORVP members will be held liable for the actions and whereabouts of their guests. Members may be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked for any rule infraction(s) made by the member or their guests.

13. Parents and/or guardians must not leave children under the age of 18 unattended or alone at the park.

14. All NJORVP daily and or yearly Memberships are non transferable and non-refundable.

15. No cutting, nailing, or damaging of trees and or vegetation.

16. Unlawful use of this property may result in imprisonment and or fines.

17. All Motorized Vehicles must obey all posted speed limits.

18. No reckless riding, including but not limited to, wheelies, donuts, double riding, riding without all required safety gear.

19. No goggle tear-offs allowed.

20. No motorcycles are allowed on the ATV track (excluding events where the park is closed to general riding).

21. No ATV’s allowed on MX track (excluding events where the park is closed to general riding).

22. No fighting allowed. If a fight occurs, all parties will be ejected for the remainder of the day and/or have their membership permanently revoked.

23. All riding is limited to designated areas only.

24. All trail markers and directions must be followed at all times.

25. Parents or guardians must accompany minors at all times.

26. All pets must be leashed at all times and all droppings must be picked up. Anyone failing to do so may be ejected for the remainder of the day and or have their membership permanently revoked.

27. Pre-registration is required for all individuals wanting to volunteer as overnight security.

28. All campfires must be contained within a fire pit or ring. All fires must be put out prior to going to sleep or leaving the park.

29. No double riding allowed in the park for any reason.

30. No washing vehicles of any kind. No fluid changing or draining. No vehicles visibly leaking fluids are allowed on NJORVP property.
