Commissioner Lisa P. Jackson 401 East State St. 7th Floor - East Wing P.O. Box 402 Trenton, NJ 08625 Dear Commissioner Jackson, I am a member of the New Jersey Off Road Vehicle Park, Chatsworth N.J. in the Pinelands. I try to spend as much time as I can for a strong family relationship, the New Jersey Off Road Park has done more bonding with my family than words can ever describe. This facility is supplying unlimited families with the same indescribable family values with the off road recreational sport. The problem is the Pinelands are taking back the land in 2008, and there will no longer be a safe place to ride for my family in New Jersey. The Pinelands Commission controls over 1 million acres, NJORVP is asking to use 0.04% of that property. This minuscule off-road recreational area would have minimal impact on the environment and the pinelands in particular. The pinelands commission signed an agreement with them (NJORVP, Inc.) to assist in relocating the park by 2008. To this point the commission has reneged on this agreement. If the Pinelands take back their land in 2008, people will be forced to travel to another state, or ride illegally through the pinelands which will due much more damage to the environment. Off Road bikes and ATV’s are sold legally in New Jersey for outdoor recreation. We need to have a facility to ride safely in N.J. Please help keep our families off road park in N.J. Sincerely,
